So I've been absolutely dismayed at some of the prices I've seen people charging for these SDR devices so I thought I would do a video for those just getting into the hobby. Hope this helps someone!

Thoughts on the HackRF One?
Is it worth $300.00 +s/h or should we stick to the cheap dongles?

Depends on what you want to do. The HAckRF can do more than just receive :)

I have a Terratec with the E4000 tuner.... which is not being made anymore. If you search you will see whats left is going for $100!... The 820T tuners are the next best thing.... They should be around $15 +-. I want to get more because I plan to use it for RA and reg radio listening and LF freqs too. (beacons etc). Some may need mods, which instructions are already out there.

I also plan to get an upverter (125MHz)
